Charles Williford Pemble III, age 67 of Ball Ground, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Northside Hospital Atlanta. Memorial services will be held April 10, 2015 at 11:30AM in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Chaplain Brent Bond officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery with full military honors. The family will be receiving friends Friday, April 10 from 10:30AM-11:30AM at Darby Funeral Home. Survivors are Wife, Emily Pemble of Ball Ground; Son, Charles W. Pemble IV of Raleigh, NC; Daughter, Catherine Barnes of Richmond,VA; Mother, Jacquelyn Pemble of Thomasville, GA; Brothers, William Morris Pemble of Madison, FL and Thomas D. Pemble of Milton, GA; Sister, Caroll Sankey of Tallahassee, FL; also surviving are 3 Grandchildren. Dr. Pemble was a Ret. Col. in the US Air Force as a member of the Air Force Dental Corp and was an Oral Pathologist and Deputy Director of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
