Charles Lynn Porcher passed away on January 17, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00PM in the chapel at Darby Funeral Home. Internment with military honors will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. He is survived by daughters, Laura (Gary) Althouse of Florida, Lisa (Gordon) Hansen of Florida, Melinda Sue Adams of Florida, and Jill Porcher of Florida, a sister Eleanor Heckaman of Indiana. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in the charge of the arrangements.
