Cora Lou Spruill, age 95, of Ball Ground, GA, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

A devoted and faithful member of Birmingham Baptist Church, Cora Lou was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She touched many lives with her kindness and steadfast faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Spruill, and her infant son, Tommy Spruill.

Cora Lou is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Dwight) Smithwick of Ball Ground, GA; her son, Jack Spruill of Moultrie, GA; four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Birmingham Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Kent Samples officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
