On Thursday October 27, 2022, the world lost one of its most optimistic and encouraging people when Dale Patrick Whiddon, "Big Daddy", age 73 passed away after a long battle with heart failure.

Dale's passion for work and building successful companies will leave a legacy that will carry on for generations, not only with Dale's kids and grandkids who have worked in his businesses, but the countless people he has mentored along the way.

Dale enjoyed attending his Grandkids' sporting events, cheering on his beloved Braves, and making Microsoft Excel do AMAZING things Bill Gates never intended it to do.

Dale is survived by his sons Todd and Tyler, his Grandkids Kyle, Jace, Eli and Allie, and his siblings Rex and Millie.

Dale's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 5th at Darby Funeral Home in Canton from 11-2pm.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in his name to the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.
