Eldon "Al" Baldwin, age 75, passed away April 22nd, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 25, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, GA.

A funeral service will be officiated by Dr. Johnny Hunt and Rev. Donald Pope at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Woodstock First Baptist Church. The burial will follow immediately at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs, GA.

Eldon was born in Flint, MI on May 4, 1938. He is preceded in death by his parents Kathryn and Eldon Baldwin. He is survived by Peggy, his wife of 48 years. He is also survived by his children: son Matthew Baldwin and wife Maria (granddaughter Emily Catherine Baldwin), son Michael Baldwin (grandson Brooks Baldwin), son Mark Baldwin (grandson Bryson Baldwin), son Billy Baldwin and wife Fran (granddaughters Sarah Kate and Haley Baldwin). He is also survived by his brother Bill Baldwin and wife Ann, sister Alice Jane Tauber and husband Doug, as well as nieces Kathryn Baldwin Smith and Maggie Tauber Daughtery.

Eldon received his undergraduate degree from and was a long-time supporter of Hillsdale College. Eldon played football, basketball, and ran track for Hillsdale. He was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He received an MBA from the University of Toledo. Eldon was a partner with his brother Bill at Inter-Tech LTD for 25 years, where he served Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.

He has been a member of Woodstock First Baptist for over 30 years.

As a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend, he will be deeply missed.
