Eva Maria Rink, age 68 of Canton, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at North Fulton Hospital surrounded by her family.
Eva was born in Putzbrunn, Germany in December 1955. Eva immigrated to the United States at a young age and lived in Patterson, New Jersey. She worked for AT&T for 25+ years before founding salon Genesis 1:31 in Milton, GA. The salon and the people in it (both employees and clients) were her passion until being called Home.
She was a loyal TCU Horned Frog fan, a one-woman army of support for those fighting cancer, and compassionate and exceptional mother, wife, and friend. May her legacy of love, warmth, and selflessness live on in our hearts and actions during this difficult time.
A celebration of life memorial is scheduled for 2:00pm Friday, March 1, 2024 at Darby Funeral Home with Mr. Kelley Claussen and Mrs. Jan Sharpe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Following the memorial service there will be a repast at the family home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
She is survived by her husband Randy Rink, daughter Marisa Hochstetler, Mother Maria Salleroli, and brother Herby Schmidbauer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to SPOHNC: Support for people with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer (spohnc.org).
