Gary Lee McMickens, age 60 of Canton, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at his residence. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4:00p.m. until 6:30p.m. at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00p.m. in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. He is survived by his father, James McMickens of Canton, brothers, Presley "Pappy" McMickens of Woodstock, Bruce McMickens of Cartersville, and Mark McMickens of Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
