Homer Jackson Parker, age 77 of Canton, passed away on March 2, 2015. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 and Wednesday, March 4, 2015, both days from 6-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 2 PM in the Darby Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Edward Cagle will officiate. Interment will be at the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church. He is survived by daughter Vanessa (Jackie) Beavers of Canton, GA; sister Estelle Wall of Canton, GA; niece Marchete (Brian) Forrester of Athens, GA; great niece Kelly Forrester of New York City, NY; great nephew Kyle Forrester of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren Brandon Beavers and Justin Beavers; one great grandchild Jett Beavers.
