Jane Starke (1936-2015) died in hospital hospice care in Alabama on November 7, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Georgia, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Starke and her daughter, Beth Harvard. Multi-talented as an artist and pianist, Jane worked in the banking industry in Atlanta and as a teller at Cherokee Bank. Her piano artistry was well loved by Lake Arrowhead Church and later at Canton First United Methodist.

She is survived by her son, James W Harvard and his wife, Pamela, of Prattville, AL. Her grandson, Brooks Harvard and granddaughter Savanna Harvard Andrews as well as her sister, Molly Fowlie (and husband Ron).

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 14, @ 11 AM at Canton First UMC, 930 Lower Scott Mill Rd, with Rev. Jim McRae officiating, In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts in Jane Starke's name to the Transformational Genomics Research Institute, 445 N. Fifth Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004 (866-370-8436).
