Mrs. Jewell Dean Young, age 80, of Canton passed away on April 7, 2019 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Darby Funeral Home Chapel at 9:30am with Rev Ken May officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning from 9:00am until the time of service. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 11:30am.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jesse Conn and Thelma Riddle, her children, Eugene Brooks and Patricia Brooks, and her brother, Glyn Kidd.

Mrs. Young in survived by her husband, Raymond Young of Canton, daughter and son in law, Glenda and Richard Kaiser, also of Canton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian Brooks, Nathan Williams, Sara Bijeaux, Matthew Kaiser and great grandchildren, Landon Bijeaux, Logan Bijeaux and Ivy Kaiser. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association of Georgia. The professional and caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to assist the Young family.
