Mr. Keith Miller Slagel, 78 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Arbor at Bridgemill in Canton, Georgia.
Born Saturday, July 25, 1942 in St. Johns, Michigan.He was the husband of Sharon Slagel.
He served as a SGT E-5 (T) in the Army from 1964 until 1966. He served in Vietnam.
Surviving are daughters, Christina Smith of Eatonton, and Cynthia Fortier (Roy) of Acworth, sister, Faye Christian of Peoria, AZ; 4 grand children; Justin Todd Neese, Amber Lynn Fortier, Jeffery Benjamin Neese, and Ryan Keith Fortier. Three great-grandchildren also survive.
A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday at Darby Funeral Home Chapel located at 480 E. Main St. Canton, Georgia 30114. Interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery , Canton, GA.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Darby Funeral Home , 480 E. Main St., Canton, Georgia.
Keith was a member of Woodstock First Baptist Church and a Deacon in several churches and ministries. He had a love for the Lord and his hope was that all the people he came into contact with would come to love the Lord as he did and that he would see them all again in heaven.
