Mary Ann Mahler, age 81 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Cameron Hall. Mary Ann was a resident of Houma, LA. for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; Reese and Ada Halley of Delhi, LA., her husband; Kearney A. Mahler, "Bobby" of Houma, LA.
She is survived by her brother, Bobby (Shirley) Halley of Monroe, LA., her sisters; Linda (George) Williams of Canton, GA. and Maurisa Morris of Chula Vista, CA., her nieces, Kim (John) Dove and Mary Ellen (Toby) Smith, her nephews, David Morris and George B. (Jill) Williams Jr., and her nieces and nephews, Connor Smith, Blake Smith, Joshua Smith, Jessica Smith, Johnna Dove and Braxton Dove. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Houma, LA. A Memorial Service is being planned and will take place at a later date. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mahler Family.
