Melania Zambrano Castro age 66 of Woodstock, GA passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 1, 1959 in Ecuador to Maria Carbo and Francisco Castro. Melania was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Always known for her kindness and generosity. She dedicated her life to her family and helping others. She is survived by her husband Jose Zambrano, Woodstock, GA, daughter Giselle Zambrano, Woodstock, GA, son Andres Zambrano, Savannah, GA, sisters Matilde Castro, Ecuador, Olga Castro, NY, brothers Alejandro Castro (Enith Carriel), Ecuador, Hugo Castro, Ecuador. She is preceded in death by her sisters Yolanda Castro and Carmen Castro. Melania has touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the service hour. Reverend Shannon Salyer will officiate. The staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Zambrano family.
