Robert Lee Dyer passed away 9-8-20 at his home. He was born 3-21-54 at Patuxent Naval Air Station. A loving son, brother, husband, father and grand "Dude." He was always someone his friends and family could count on.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Savannah Lee Dyer, his parents Robert Dyer and Janice Lee Dyer, his brother Jeffery Dyer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan DeVault Dyerof Canton, sons, Robert Breeze Dyer of Canton, Cody Dyer (Shayna) of Canton, 5 grandchildren, his brother Mark Dyer (Shelby) of Locust Grove NC, Aunt June (Mendel) Ray Jonesboro, Uncle Joseph Dyer Elyria OH as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was an athlete playing baseball, football, running track, throwing javelin and water skiing.
He owned Southern Graphic Services for 35 years and worked all over the U.S.
He was active in the community. He served on the board of Canton Dizzy Dean for several years. He was a volunteer firefighter at Sutallee Fire Dept. and a member of Cherokee County Search and Rescue for 17 years.
His greatest joy was his grandchildren Roland, Landen, Calvin, Savannah and Juniper.
