Mrs. Shelbia Jean Bennett age 83 of Canton, GA passed away surrounded by family on Friday, February 16, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 1:00PM - 9:00PM, Monday from 9:00AM -9:00PM, and Tuesday from 9:00AM until the funeral hour. Interment will be in the Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Ware, Rev. Teddy Blanton and Rev. Phillip McPhereson will officiate.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by her son Sammy (Kim) Bennett, Ball Ground, GA, daughters Kelly (Kenneth) Byess, Ball Ground, GA, Kandis (Michael) Doss, Canton, GA, brother Neal (Judy) Warren, Woodstock, GA, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Bennett, daughter Alisha Bennett and grandson Kyle Byess.
