Stephen Edgar Appling's Obituary
Stephen Edgar Appling, 76 of Canton, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Visitation will be Friday, December 22nd from 12pm to 8pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, December 23rd at 11am at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by:
Son - D"Wayne (Tracy) Appling of Ball Ground
Daughter - Beth Haley of Ball Ground
7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Disabled American Veteran's of Pickens County.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Appling family.
