Mrs. Susan Rebecca Jones Ash departed this world peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, June 23, 2019 in Canton, GA. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael, and is survived by her husband: Kenneth, children: Jason (Juliet) and Kendra (Nick), grandchildren: Jacob, Skyler, and Helena, brothers: Jim (Peggy), Jerry (Julie), and nephews: Brian, David, Stephen, Kevin, and Ryan.
A celebration of Susan's life will be held for family and friends at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12th, at Darby Funeral Home, 480 E Main St, Canton, GA 30114. A brief committal ceremony will be held following the service at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114 in Committal Shelter #2. Susan loved flowers and organizations for people with intellectual disabilities. Family & friends that wish to may choose between sending flowers to the funeral home or make donations to either The ARC, Georgia Organization or The Georgia Special Olympics.
