Thomas Joseph Whitty, Jr. age 50 of Holly Springs, GA passed away Wednesday September 28, 2016 after a long and hard battle with cancer. Tom was a member of the The Revolution Church of Canton, GA. He will be remembered by all for his caring and love for his family and children.
He enjoyed coaching baseball for his son's teams.He ran a contracting business for many years. People who knew him and his work will always remember his dedication and professionalism in the contracting field. However, his children were the real love of his life. He is now at peace. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00PM Saturday October 1, 2016 from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 5:00PM until the funeral hour.
Mr. Whitty is survived by his son; Jack Whitty, Canton, GA, daughters; Sarah Whitty, Canton, GA, Kate Whitty, Canton, GA, father; Thomas Joseph Whitty, Sr., Skaneateles, NY, mother; Lucille Whitty, Skaneateles, NY, brother; Michael (Colleen) Whitty, Dublin, OH, sisters; Janet Whitty, Atlanta, GA, Barbara (William) McGillick, Denver, CO and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
