Virginia P. Arcangelo's Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" Arcangelo, 77 of Canton, GA., passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at her residence.

Ginny had a distinguished career as a nurse, nurse practitioner, and associate professor, spending the majority of her career at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She was also an accomplished author, having written multiple editions of her book "Pharmacotherapeutics for Advanced Practice: A Practical Approach".

Outside of work, Ginny had a passion for travel, having visited most of the United States and six of the seven continents. Ginny also loved spending time with family and friends, which included playing bridge and mahjong and playing Rummikub with her children and grandchildren. She delighted family and friends with her famous pepperoni bread and chocolate chip pancakes and would serenade loved ones with her rendition of "Young Girl," bringing smiles and laughter to all who heard.

Ginny was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. Her dedication to helping others was evident through her work as a nurse practitioner, as well as her volunteer work with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in Georgia and her efforts to support the homeless and less fortunate.

Ginny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony, who passed away in 2010. She is survived by her daughter Kristi Estes (James McGehee) of Canton, GA; her son David (Gwen) Arcangelo of South Grafton, MA; her grandchildren Samantha Estes and Connor Estes; her brother William (Michelle) Poole of York, PA; her brother Stephen (Kim) Poole of Downington, PA; her partner Richard Seay of Gainesville, GA.
