William Keith Aanensen's Obituary

William "Bill" Keith Aanensen, a devoted and loving father and son of Canton GA
passed away at the age of 53 surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his four
children Lauren A. Franklin, Kirsten N. Aanensen, Zachary R. Aanensen and Cole A.
Aanensen, his granddaughter, Brinkley R. Franklin, a son in law, Adam R. Franklin, his
parents William A. Aanensen and Linda L. Aanensen, and his brother Robert A.
Aanensen.

Bill spent most of his adult life working as a dedicated Industrial Engineer at
United Parcel Service where he was a valued team member and considered his
colleagues in the Work Measurement Department his "work family". Bill was also a
proud member of the armed forces, serving in the United State Army Reserves from
1990 to 1996. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his children, working on
cars, woodworking, or tinkering in his garage. He never failed to be a supportive and
loving father who endlessly ensured his children were striving for success whether that
be academically, athletically, or career wise. Bill was an intentional friend to many who
had countless memories with him, much of which were covered in car grease from
rebuilds, ice sickles from skiing, or coal dust from four wheeling. What separated Bill
from other's was his servant heart that reflected his love for Jesus, displayed by the
silent acts of kindness he did for anyone he encountered. From homeless people in the
grocery store parking lot, to coworkers around the world, to his children and grandchild,
Bill never ceased to care for those surrounding him without anything in return. Being a
"Pap" to Brinkley Rae was one of his proudest roles in his later years of life and brought
beams of joy to his eyes and a smile a mile long. There will be a permanent hole in the
hearts of those who remain here, but Heaven gained a remarkable angel, one who will
be cheering on his loved one from afar, but always near at heart.
Services will be held Saturday, June 24th at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, GA
