Benjamin Paul Rakestraw age 92 of Canton, GA passed away Thursday June 30, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.
Services for Mr. Rakestraw are scheduled for 11:00AM Tuesday July 5th from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Marietta, GA. Reverend Harden Hopper will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday July 3rd from 4:00PM until 7:00PM.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Rakestraw, Canton, GA, sons Ben Rakestraw, Calhoun, GA, Matt Rakestraw, Holly Springs, GA, daughters Lori Weatherford, Woodstock, GA, Kimberly Madden, Canton, GA, Heidi (Tony) Monroe, Forsyth, GA, Paige (Shawn) Blevins, Concord, GA, sister Judy Ivey, Madison, NC, many loving Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his favorite pup, Gracie.
