Camille Arnold Barry passed away on August 21, 2021 in Canton, GA. Camille was born in Durham, NC, to Elizabeth Haddock Arnold and James Noble Arnold; she moved with her parents to Atlanta, GA, where she graduated from Northside High School. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BFA degree, and a member of the Chi Omega Sorority and the Zeta Phi Eta Honorary Speech Fraternity. Her careers included English Teacher at Northside High School, Administration Assistant in the Marketing Department at the First National Bank of Atlanta, Assistant Manager of the Swan Coach House Art Gallery and Agent with Harry Norman Realtors. Camille and her husband, Ralph J. Barry, Jr., who predeceased her in 1999, moved to St. Simons Island in 1998. She was active in the Frederica Baptist Church where she was a charter member. She was a member of the Frederica Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, served as a docent with the Coastal Georgia Historical Society, and was active in the St. Simons Family Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Barry, Jr.; her parents Elizabeth and J. Noble Arnold; brother John Noble Arnold; sister-in-law Nancy Arnold; niece Laura Pace Arnold. She is survived by her son Michael Bieger and his wife Lisa Marie Bieger, their son Evan, and daughter Ashley, of Salacoa Valley, GA; Matthew Arnold Bieger and his wife Amanda Waterman Bieger, of Milton, GA; son-in-law Christopher Barry and his wife Leslie Barry, their daughters Meredith and Josephine, of Bellevue, WA; niece Lisa Arnold Franklin. Graveside services will be held at Arlington Cemetery, Sandy Springs, GA, on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at 1:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Frederica Baptist Church Building Fund, 1700 Frederica Road, St. Simons Island, GA 31522 www.darbyfuneralhome.com
