Harold Edgar Bradshaw of Canton, Georgia passed away at age 91 on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his wife, Nan of nearly 54 years and his family. Harold was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. Harold began his career in the poultry business working with his father, T.B. Bradshaw. That success led him to become an entrepreneur, starting his own company specializing in agricultural chemical supplies which later became a horticulture business, Progress Growers Supply. Harold also enjoyed building and raising a herd of Beefmaster Cattle. As a respected businessman in the community, Harold served on the board of directors of the Bank of Canton for many years. Harold, “Pappy” the cornerstone to his large family, was known for his integrity, patience, quiet faith, and kind spirit. His family loved spending time with Pappy on their yearly family vacation to Ormond Beach. A perfect day for Pappy would be started with a round of golf, followed by watching the Georgia Bulldogs win, and then spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. The kids loved nothing more than to make him laugh. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Calvary Children's Home, 1430 Lost Mountain Road, Powder Springs, GA. 30127. www.calvarykids.org The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bradshaw family.
