Martha E. Schnars, former longtime resident of Philipsburg, died March 14, 2011 of natural causes at age 93 in Canton, GA.  She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde E. Schnars, her father Earl Fleck and mother Mable Fleck, and three brothers Clyde, Earl and Harry all of Philipsburg.  Martha is survived by two sons, Clyde R. Schnars and his wife Sharon of Canton, GA, their two children daughter Beth Schnars, MD, her husband Tim Crumpler, MD and their two children Ryan and Jordan of Chattanooga, TN.  And their son John Schnars, MD,  his wife Ingle Owens-Schnars, MD and their children RaeAnnah and Elijah of Jasper, GA.  Martha's other son Lynn E. Schnars and his wife Joyce of Naples, FL, their two daughters Kimberly Scott, her Husband Don Scott of Jacksonville, FL. And their other daughter Lisa Flanders, her Husband Jesse Flanders and their two children Evan and Megan of Kernersville, NC.  Martha is also survived by her sister Mary Kanour of Mechanicsburg, PA and sister-in law's Cleo Fleck and Elma Gette-Smithmyer of Philipsburg, and sister-in law Thelma Schnars of Bloomington, IL.  She also had many nieces and nephews.  Plans are pending for a memorial services for later this spring in State College, PA.
