Mary Julia Monte, age 63 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 7:00p.m. in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. She was born on January 13, 1954 to John F. and Alice A. Cribben. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Monte of Canton, her son, Charles Hathaway the 5th, her two grandchildren, Avery 13 and Page 5, her sisters, Patricia A. Nolan and Margaret J. Harback, her brothers, Michael J. Cribben and Kerry Cribben. Bruce is survived by his son, Craig Comollie, his sisters, Pam Monte and Carol A. and Joe Johnson and their three children, Joe, Jenny, and Jake, his niece Monique and Howard Henry and their sons, Luke and Jake. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
