Melania Zambrano Castro age 66 of Woodstock, GA passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 1, 1959 in Ecuador to Maria Carbo and Francisco Castro.
Melania was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Always known for her kindness and generosity. She dedicated her life to her family and helping others. She is survived by her husband Jose Zambrano, Woodstock, GA, daughter Giselle Zambrano, Woodstock, GA, son Andres Zambrano, Savannah, GA, sisters Matilde Castro, Ecuador, Olga Castro, NY, brothers Alejandro Castro (Enith Carriel), Ecuador, Hugo Castro, Ecuador. She is preceded in death by her sisters Yolanda Castro and Carmen Castro. Melania has touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the service hour. Reverend Shannon Salyer will officiate.

Melania Zambrano Castro, de 66 años, de Woodstock, GA, falleció pacíficamente el 14 de febrero de 2025 rodeada de sus seres queridos. Nació el 1 de enero de 1959 en Ecuador, hija de María Carbó y Francisco Castro.
Melania era una querida madre, esposa, hermana, hija y amiga. Siempre conocida por su amabilidad y generosidad. Dedicó su vida a su familia y a ayudar a los demás. Le sobreviven su esposo José Zambrano, Woodstock, GA, su hija Giselle Zambrano, Woodstock, GA, su hijo Andrés Zambrano, Savannah, GA, sus hermanas Matilde Castro, Ecuador, Olga Castro, NY, sus hermanos Alejandro Castro (Enith Carriel), Ecuador, Hugo Castro, Ecuador. Le precedieron en la muerte sus hermanas Yolanda Castro y Carmen Castro. Melania ha tocado la vida de muchas personas y su memoria será siempre apreciada por quienes la conocieron y amaron.
Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo a las 4:00 p. m. el martes 18 de febrero de 2025 en la Capilla de Darby Funeral Home. El velorio será desde las 3:00 PM hasta la hora de servicio. La reverenda Shannon Salyer oficiará.
