Alfred L. Pellegrini, who resided in Canton, GA, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the age of 91. Born in New York City, Al was a graduate of Cornell University where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering in 1952. He spent most his career working in the greater New York and New Jersey metropolitan area and retired in 1993. An avid golfer, Alfred enjoyed playing and watching the game with family and friends. Among his other hobbies he enjoyed reading, playing bridge and playing games of strategy. Proud of his heritage, he was fond of a good Italian meal and a nice glass of wine. He cherished the trips he made to Italy, especially Venice. Alfred was predeceased by his wife Edmee, his son David and his sister Joan. He is survived by four remaining children: Mark, Lynn, Paul and Carol and their spouses. He said he was blessed to be given 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Doris and Elaine and 5 nieces and 2 nephews. A funeral Mass is planned for a future date.
