Mrs. Alice Hazel Pierce, formerly Ms. Alice Davis, passed away on October 26, 2015 at her residence. Visitation for Mrs. Pierce will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 5-9 PM, and Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 10 AM-9 PM at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2 PM at the Darby Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Teddy Davis and Reverend Joey Phillips will be officiating. Interment is to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Mrs. Pierce was survived by daughter Michelle & Randy Dement of Jasper, Ga; daughter Jane & Terry Hamilton of Canton, Ga; daughter Lisa & Steven Kyle of Dawsonville, Ga; son Bob & Rene Pierce of Holly Springs, Ga; son Eddie & Tracey Pierce of Canton, Ga; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is handling these funeral arrangements.
