Alma R. Stancil, 86 of Woodstock, GA passed away Saturday May 11, 2013 at Woodstock Nursing and Rehab. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30am Wednesday May 15, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Michael Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery at 12:30pm. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00pm- 6:00pm. Survivors include Daughters and Sons-in-law, Barbara & Helmut Baxter, Canton, GA; Patricia & Ray Newman, Powder Springs, GA; Brother, Joe Thackston, Lilburn, GA; Sister, Madge Brown, Piedmont, SC; 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
