Alton Raymond Carroll, age 75 of Stone Mt. passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home at 1PM with Pastor Marty Smith and Pastor Randall Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 11AM-1PM at Darby Funeral Home. Surviving are Wife Essie Evelyn Carroll; Sons Randy White of Ellenwood and Tony White of Greenwood, SC; Daughters Patti Anderson of Snellville, GA and Sandi Atkins of Stone Mt.; Brother Max Carroll of Charlotte, SC; Sister Vernnie Morgan of Stone Mt., also surviving are 5 Grandchild and 4 Great Grandchildren.
