Alvin Ladell Dickerson, Jr., age 92 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, March 1st at Georgia War Veterans Home in Augusta. No local services are scheduled at this time. He is survived by:

Son - Tom Dickerson of Norcross
Son - David (Cindy) Hix of Calhoun
Daughter - Jane Richbourg of Maitland, FL.
Daughter - Linda (Howard) Gleiter of Alpharetta
Daughter - Laura (Fred) Ellis of Canton
Brother - John Dickerson of Huntington Beach, CA.
Sister - Loretta Gigoux of Dallas, TX.
Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation in his honor. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
