Andrew M. Carreno, 89, formally of Montville, New Jersey died peacefully at his home in Canton, GA on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Funeral Mass wiil be held 10 AM Tuesday Saint Pias Roman Catholic Church ,Montville, NJ interment in the Gate Of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
Born in New York City, NY to Toribio and Maria Elena Carreno, Andrew was the devoted husband of Eda J. Carreno. Having retired as the co-owner operator of an import/export firm in the Wall Street area of Manhattan he moved to Canton, GA. His parents, Toribio and Maria Elena, and his brothers Charles and Ralph Carreno predeceased Mr. Carreno. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Eda J. Carreno, son James J. Carreno (Jim) and his wife Marianne, daughters; Anita M. Bineau and her husband Jim, Andrea Arnett, and her husband John. Eleven grandchildren; Amy, Gary, Andrew, Patrick, Melissa, Mathew, Anthony, Stephen, Jennifer, Brittany and Brandon and eight great-grandchildren; Kirsten, Emma, Alexis (Lexie), Julia, Natalie, Milo, Madeline (Maddy) and Brooklyn and numerous nieces and nephews. Andrew was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army Air Corp in the Pacific conflict. Andrew was an avid swimmer and enjoyed spending time with his family. Loving his family and watching them grow brought him the greatest joy. Caring Staff of the Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements .
