Barbara Ruth Blanton's Obituary
Barbara Ruth Blanton, age 83 of Canton, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 2nd from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral will be on Thursday, May 3rd at 2:00p.m. from the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Phillips and Rev. Scott Price officiating. Interment will follow at Arbor Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Griffin. She is survived by:
Husband – Dewey Blanton of Canton
Son – Grant T. Griffin of Mableton
Step-Daughter – Michelle (Josh) Cox of Smyrna
Two step-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
