Ann Wimbish Roberts, age 66, died Sunday, November 29, 2009, at her residence in Canton.  Ann was valedictorian at Cherokee High School and graduated with honors from the University of Georgia.  She taught math at Cherokee High for more than 30 years and was head of the Math Department when she retired in 2001 to care for her Mother.  She was a member of the Canton  First United Methodist Church.  Ann was pre-deceased in death by her father, Jack Thornton Wimbish;  her mother, Willie Cline Wimbish; and her brother, Jack Wimbish, Jr.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Alberta Castillo; granddaughter, Veronica Castillo, all of Canton; and brother, Tom Wimbish of Birmingham, AL.   Ann's funeral will be held at the Sardis Baptist Church on Wednesday at 2 P.M.  Interment in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Charles Davis, Rev.
