Barbara Claire Saberg, age 92, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Born on August 12, 1933, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Barbara was the daughter of the late Charles Anderson and Lillian Biller Anderson. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by the love she shared with her family. Barbara's caring heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved created a legacy that will continue for generations.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Cheryl Saberg Boyles and Robin Saberg; her cherished grandchildren, Danielle Boyles and Jeffrey Boyles; and her brother, Donald Anderson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Gary (Pixie) Saberg of Moravia, New York, and Wendy (Andre) Arceneaux of Canton, Georgia. Barbara was a proud and loving grandmother to Joseph Zollo, Christopher Zollo, Dennis Boyles, Robert Boyles, Milford Boyles, Michael Boyles, Dustin Boyles, Logan Arceneaux, and Lorrie Perrine. She was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren, with one more precious great-grandchild expected, each bringing her immense joy and adding to the legacy of love she leaves behind.

Barbara will be remembered for the warmth of her smile, the kindness she extended to everyone she met, and the unconditional love she gave so freely to her family. Her presence was a source of comfort and strength, and the memories she created with those she loved will be treasured forever. While her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love will continue to live on in their hearts.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Darby Funeral Home.
