Betty Lou (Buell) Agosta, of Canton, GA, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, at age 93. Born in Lake Orion, MI, in October 1932, she married Wilfred “Bill” Henry Agosta of Plymouth, MI, in 1951. They lived in Chicago, IL, from 1959 to 1983; Tulsa, OK, from 1983 to 2012; and Canton, GA, thereafter. Bill passed away in 2020.

She is survived by her children, Michael Agosta and wife Joel (Mayernick) Agosta of Canton, GA; Jeffrey Agosta and wife Neri (Baykal) Agosta of Elk Grove Village, IL; and Christine Agosta of Garner, NC; five grandchildren, Diane Rathbun, Tracey Jones, Jonathan Agosta, T.J. Agosta, and Sam Agosta; and six great-grandchildren, Mabel, Ender, Zac, Tommy, Lucy, and Jordan; step-sisters and step-brother, Elaine (Bliss) Garman, Sharon (Bliss) Buhl, Warren Bliss all of Michigan.

Betty enjoyed crafting, crocheting, cross-stitching, making blankets and quilts, music, and playing the piano. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she treasured the traditions, music, and togetherness it brought to her family.

Betty leaves behind family, friends, and neighbors who loved her dearly, along with a lifetime of memories that will be forever remembered.
