Mrs. Betty J. Whitfield age 79 of Canton, Ga died on Sunday June 19, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 22, 2016 from the Chapel of the Darby Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Cherokee Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Monday 3-5 PM and Tuesday 10 AM-8PM. Survivors include, Daughters June Wilson, Canton & Melanie Whitfield, Canton, GA, sons, Mitchell Whitfield, Canton, GA, Michael Whitfield and Mark Whitfield, Canton, GA Brother Doug Ponder, Sharpsburg, GA 12 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Whitfield and daughter Michelle Whitfield. The caring staff of the Darby Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
