Betty Wilson, 76, a spinner for Canton Textile Mills , where she worked for years, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at her home in Canton, Georgia. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Renay & David Phillips, Canton Teresa & Randy Williams, Canton her son and daughter-in-law Rev. Rick & Carol Wilson,Canton her brother Rev. William Milton Smith Jr.,Chatsworth 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband A. J. Akie Wilson Visitation will be held at on Saturday from After 5 PM on Sunday from All Day on Monday from until Funeral Hour . Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Darby Huey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dan Henderson, Rev. Kent Samples and Rev. James Thomas  will be officiating. Burial will be in the Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton.
