Billie Jo Sappenfield
79, passed away peacefully on October 18th. She was truly a genuine person with a heart of gold & smile that lit up the room. She went to Truett McConnell and then graduated from Shorter University. She cherished being a teacher to help make an impact.
She enjoyed time with her family - camping, annual beach trips, playing games and just being there for her loved ones at all times. She loved watching the Braves and especially being a proud grandma of her 2 grandsons.
Her 55 year anniversary with her husband Ron is this October 29th. She will be dearly missed however comforted that she is now with our Heavenly Father. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 20th from 5-7pm. She is survived by:
Husband - Ron Sappenfield of Canton
Son - Brad Sappenfield of Memphis, TN.
Daughter - Ronda (Lenwood) Bowers of Woodstock
Daughter - Stacy (Scott) Ballantyne of Salt Lake City, UT.
Brother - Stanley Cox of Smyrna
Grandchildren - Obie Bowers, Lawton Bowers
