Obituary
Billy Benson Gilleland, 85 of Canton, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Accent Hospice in Cumming, GA.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 28th from 1-3pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Sutton officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Gilleland, his granddaughter, Samantha Elgin, and his brother, Bennie Gilleland.
He is survived by:
Son - Michael Benson (Patty) Gilleland of Cartersville, GA
Daughter - Karen Henson (Gary Herendeen) of Chattanooga, TN
Grandchildren - Jacob Gilleland, Jared Gilleland, Special Friend - Edwin Milford whose generous support over the years has been a true blessing.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice in Mr. Gilleland's memory.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gilleland family.
