Bobby Jerry Bailey, 87 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at his residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4th from 4-8pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, October 5th at 2pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Jones and Rev. Scott Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Mr. Bailey was married to his wife Ardell for 67 years. He retired from Coca-Cola after 36 years of service. He was a founding member of the Joymasters and a charter member of New Life Church. Mr. Bailey enjoyed working in the yard and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah Reece and Betty Hardin, and his brothers, Jimmy Bailey, Bill Bailey, Doug Bailey, Jack Bailey, Joe Bailey, Dick Bailey, and D.W. Bailey.

He is survived by:
Wife – Ardell Bailey of Canton, GA.
Son – Mike (Darlene) Bailey of Woodland, AL.
Daughter – Lisa (Jimmy) Stansel of Holly Springs, GA.
Daughter – Debbie (Gary) Chappelear of Woodstock, GA.
Grandchildren – Ashley Butler, Alyssa Bailey, Brittany Rickman, Garrett Stansel, Austin Chappelear, Cassie Poole.
9 great-grandchildren also survive.
