Bobby Joe Jenkins's Obituary
Mr. Bobby Joe Jenkins, age 72 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Jenkins was born September 21, 1940 in Cherokee County to the late Arthur and Alice Williams Jenkins. He was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and a member of Community Baptist Church. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert, Charlie and Arthur Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Jenkins, Sautee Nacoochee; son, Matthew Jenkins, Sautee Nacoochee; daughter, Elizabeth Jenkins Fiero, Lakewood, CO; granddaughter, Morgan Grace Fiero, Lakewood, CO; sister, Marie Crawford, Bryson City, NC.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the chapel at Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Easterwood, Rev. Matt Stephens, and Rev. Marty Abernathy will officiate. Interment will follow at Floyd Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
