Mrs. Brenda Elaine (Rooker) Price, age 75, of Canton, gained her heavenly angel wings on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and infectious smile.
Brenda was born on December 4, 1949, to B.L. "Bud" and Juanita Rooker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Laura Rooker Walker (Clenton), brothers, James Rooker and Michael Rooker.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Dean Price, her daughter, Lisa Price, her granddaughter, Adrienne (Stephen) Hall, two great-grandchildren, Carson and Kylee Hall, brother, David Rooker, sisters-in-law, Debbie Rooker, Debbie Davis Rooker, Helen Walker, Ava (Charles) Evans, Net Price, brothers-in-law, Billy Price, Tim Price. A host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, February 14th from 2pm to 8pm, Saturday, February 15th from 10am - 8pm, and Sunday, February 16th from 12pm to 2pm. The funeral will be Sunday, February 16th at 3pm at Chalcedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Waddell, Rev. Josh Dobson, and Rev. Rodney King officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.
