Carl was survived by:
Sons: Jeffery Carl Denney and Scott Anthony Denney
Three Grandchildren:
JC Denney, Glenn Denney and Nancy Anne Denney
Three Great Grandchildren:
Saylor, Trux and Tuff Denney
Carl grew up in Canton, GA with parents Claude and Pearl Denney
Carl, Jim "Peabody' (deceased), Junior, Billy Ray (Deceased) Ruby (deceased) and George
Carl served as Private in the US Army from 1951-1953 in the Korean War. He also earned two bronze stars.
Carl was married to Frankie Anne Neese Denney for 42 years.
Carl was a truck driver and worked for Atlanta Motor Lines for 28 years retiring in 1993. Carl was a good man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was very social and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Carl worked hard all his life but in his spare time and in retirement he enjoyed traveling, camping at Unicoi State Park in Helen, GA. He also played Bingo and golf regularly.
Viewing will be held 10 AM- 12 noon Wednesday September 23, 2020
Service will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday September 23, 2020
Burial is by invitation only at the National Cemetery in Canton, GA Caring Staff of Darby Funeral Home in Charge of Arrangements.
