Carol Ann Hall, age 69 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at her residence.She is the daughter of James R. Fay and Betty Earnestine Hall Fay. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16th from 1-6pm at Darby Funeral Home. The Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, October 17th at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church with Father Charles Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30pm. She is survived by:
Husband - Richard Hall of Canton
Daughter - Dena (John) Pizzurro of NY.
Son - Rodney (Jodie) Hall of Cumming
Sister - Linda (Bobby) Emhardt of FL.
Aunt - Mary Ann Fay - Gunnarson, Concord, MA.
Six grandchildren
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Carol Ann was born January 25, 1950 in Maryville, TN then shortly after moved to Queens, NY. Carol graduated from Bishop Riley High School in Flushing, NY and attended Queens College. She and her dad loved watching their favorite football team, the New York Jets. After moving to Georgia she went to work for an attorney as a paralegal. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and music. She passed away after a long illness. A big thank you goes to her Niece - Michael Ann McMurray, Canton, GA for all her help in taking care of Carol Ann and Affinity Hospice.
