Charles Marion Hames, age 68 of Acworth, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 29, 2016. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Gail Hames of Acworth, his son, Chuck Hames of Destin, Fl., His daughter, Shannon Hames of Acworth, and his sister, Jeannie (Mark) Sellers of Holly Springs. Three grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
