Charles Waits, 71 of Canton, GA passed away Friday December 19, 2014 at Canton Nursing Center. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00am Monday December 22, 2014 from Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Tenney officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Darby Funeral Home. Mr. Waits was a retired school Psychologist with Barrow & Athens, Clark County School Systems and at Central State Hospital. Survivors include wife, Virginia Waits, Canton, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Charles Eric & Lezli Waits, Columbus, MS; daughter & son-in-law, Shannon & Richard Waits Creasman, Marietta, GA; sister, Janis Waits, McDonough, GA; 4 grandchildren, Emily Waits, Richard Creasman III, Megan Waits and Hunter Creasman. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the, National Parkinson Foundation Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
