Charles Whitten, 61 of Japer, GA passed away Wednesday December 22 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.  Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday December 27, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickie Edwards officiating.  Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 1:00 P.M.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 10-8 P.M.  Survivors include Sons, Greg & Kathleen Whitten, Canton, GA; Brian Whitten, Rockmart, GA; Sisters, Sandra Feithoffer, Talking Rock, GA; Linda Crawford, powder Springs, GA; Carol Tate, Yorkville, GA; Grandson, Evan Whitten, Rockmart, GA.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
