Charlotte Monteel Flynn celebrated 80 years of life on earth and joined our Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Charlotte was a loving, devoted wife to her surviving husband, Russell Flynn for 51 years.

Charlotte was a woman full of love and grace with each person she encountered. Walking fully in the faith, she poured love out. All those who knew her were recipients of the Lord's seeds that He used through her as we felt her precious love. Romans 14:8 says..(NKJV) For if we live, we live to the Lord: and if we die, we die to the Lord.  Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.

Family traditions were very important to Charlotte, and she and Russ enjoyed celebrating those traditions with their  children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Whether celebrating in their home at Lake Arrowhead, or around various campsites where they loved to visit in their motor home, those special times were enjoyed and will be missed by everyone in their family.  Charlotte is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Steve & Jenny Papevies of Atlanta, son & daughter-in-law, Ron & DD Flynn of Woodstock, son, James Russell Flynn of Acworth, daughter & son-in-Law, Angela & Rick Whitener of Kennesaw, daughter & son-in-Law, Tami & Michael Haley of Canton, and  sister, Elizabeth Sullivan of St. Augustine, FL as well as 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 4PM til 7PM at Darby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be officiated by Dr. James Kilgore, and are scheduled for Sunday, June 30th at 2PM in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home, 480 Main Street Canton, Georgia.
