Clarence Wallace Stone Jr., age 74, of Woodstock, Ga., passed away Monday, August 6, 2018, in Woodstock, Ga.
He was born February 24, 1944, in Jefferson City, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for five years, rank of Sgt. and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He graduated Valedictorian from Linn Technical Jr. College in 1968 with a degree in electronics.
He was a former member of the technical staff at A.T.&T. for 32 years. He worked at Alcatel-Lucent and was a Contract Special Power Telco Engineer at Emerson Electronics.
He was a life member of the VFW and Mason Temple.
He is survived by his twin sister, Barabara Allgire of Jefferson City; two brothers, Terry Stone (Cathy) of Centertown and Arthur Stone of Jefferson City; three nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Wingate.
The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 12noon until 2PM. Military Honors will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 2PM by the U.S. Marine Corp Honor Guard.
